How we work
LeagueMind Editorial
Who we are
LeagueMind Editorial is the newsroom name for stories published on LeagueMind's Desk. Stories are sports analysis built from LeagueMind's own stored odds, published picks and game data.
How a story is made
AI drafts some stories from that stored evidence. Every number in a story must point to a stored record. Prices, odds tables, charts, pick boxes and sources are built from LeagueMind's stored data, never written by the model.
Automated checks run on every version of a story: sources, exact numbers, timing and wording rules. A separate AI model, which sees only the stored evidence and the draft, then checks the draft's claims against that evidence. Stories that need judgment go to a LeagueMind editor.
Each story carries a label that says how it was made:
- AI-drafted · automated checksAn AI wrote the draft and it passed our automated checks and a separate AI review. No editor read it before publication.
- Reviewed by LeagueMind editorsA LeagueMind editor reviewed the story before publication.
An automated review is never presented as human review.
Prices and timing
Prices are sampled about twice a day until the final hour before a game. Each price shows its book and the time it was stored.
“At publication” prices never change after a story is published. “Latest stored” prices sit beside them with their own time. A first stored price is labelled “first observed”, not an opening line.
Picks
Stories can mention only published picks that are already graded, or today's free pick. A withdrawn pick stays visible as withdrawn.
Corrections
Material corrections are dated on the story, and the original text stays on record. A withdrawn story keeps a notice at its address.
